As you may already be aware the IABA 2006 Rule Book is currently being reviewed. In October 2015 at the National Convention held in Ennis, Co Clare a draft “2016 Rule Book” was made available to attendees. This draft rule book was then posted on our website and may still be accessed under Clubzone – ‘New Draft Rule Book’ or downloaded through below link.
However, if you would like a hard copy you can receive one by sending a written request to rulebook@iaba.ie or Sally C/O IABA, National Stadium, South Circular Rd, Dublin 8.The draft “2016 Rule book” is currently being reviewed by a sub committee of the Boxing Council and that review is scheduled to be completed by the end of February 2016. We would be delighted to receive any comments or recommendations that you may have to rulebook@iaba.ie before close of business 27th February 2016.
Upon completion of the review, the Rule Book will then go to final draft stage and the proposed “Rule Book 2016” will be made available to all clubs in March 2016 in preparation for a vote on ratification to be held at an Emergency General Meeting of the IABA (date to be announced shortly).
