The Irish Athletic Boxing Association ran the tournament to assist with their selection process for the European Women’s Youth and Junior Championships at a host city to be confirmed in late May and early June.
All boxers weighed in earlier today ahead of tonight’s Girls Competition Youth and Junior finals at the Ringside Club at Dublin’s National Stadium.
Boxing begins at 6pm.
The Junior 1 semi-finals at the Boy and Junior 1 & 2 Championships will also be decided at the National Stadium this evening.

Athletes are not required to weigh-in until the day of their finals on April 8th. Weigh-in time – 8am to 9am.

The International Boxing Association (AIBA) yesterday marked the 150 days to go milestone to the 2017 AIBA World Elite Men’s Championships in Hamburg, Germany this autumn.
The European Elite Championships in the Ukraine (June 16/24) will act as the sole qualifier for Hamburg (August 25/September 3).
