The Irish Athletic Boxing Association (IABA) attended today’s function to celebrate International Women’s Day 2017 and Irishwomen in sport at the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin.

The IABA,along with representatives from other Irish sports,were guests of the Olympic Council of Ireland and its new President, Sarah Keane. read more

Irish European U/22 squad squad training in Abbotstown

Thirty one nations – including Ireland –  are in the hat to battle it out at the European U/22 Championships in Romania. Boxing begins next Tuesday in Brăila.

Ireland are currently training at the Institute of Sport in Abbotstown, Dublin.The squad wind up their camp on Thursday under coaches Zaur Antia, Dmitry Dimitruck and Jimmy Halpin and leave for Romania early next Monday morning. read more

Team Ireland are putting in their first full day of training in Anapa today ahead of the Pavlyukov Youth Memorial.

The squad arrived in the Russian city late Monday night and had a light training session yesterday.
