Irish boxing will be aiming to supplement a proud medal haul at the 2018 European Schoolboy/Schoolgirl Championships in Albena, Bulgaria this month.
The IABA will confirm the Ireland squad for Bulgaria shortly.
The 16th edition of the competition marks the first occasion that the event is a joint male and female tournament.
Irish boxing has secured medals at every European Schoolboy Championships since the inaugural Championships at Rome 2003.
An impressive 89 gold, silver and bronze have been claimed.
Olympians Joe Ward, David Oliver Joyce, John Joe Joyce and ex IBF/WBA champion Carl Frampton are among the stars that have finished in podium positions.
The IABA used last month’s National Junior Boys and Girls Cadet Championships as part of their selection process for Bulgaria.
Irish boxing is proudly sponsored by Liffey Crane.
