13 clubs attended the first in a series of EGM Info Meetings in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, this evening, led by IABA Board of Directors Chair, Niall O’Carroll.
Also present this evening were IABA President, Gerry O’Mahony, and Directors, Ted Barry and Neil Gough
As indicated in early June following the IOC’s recommendation from the IOC Executive Board to IOC Session to withdraw recognition of the International Boxing Association, IABA clubs will have the opportunity to consider alternative partnerships. Formal notice of the time, date and location of the EGM will issue in the coming days.
The Info Meeting series is designed to enable clubs to hear all available information, and to pose any questions they may have. This evening’s meeting lasted just over 2 hours, and over half of the meeting was devoted to questions from the floor.
The clubs which attended this evening are:
St Paul’s Waterford/SETU BCs
