The Irish Athletic Boxing Association (IABA) have confirmed a 31-strong squad for the European Schoolboy and Schoolgirls Championships in Bulgaria.
Boxing at the tournament, which marks the first occasion that the competition is a joint male and female event, begins in Albena on May 22.
The Irish team – 19 males and 12 females – is the largest panel that the IABA has ever sent to an international event in the 107-year history of the IABA.
The IABA used last month’s National Boys and Girls Championships as part of their selection process for Albena.
Team Ireland depart for Bulgaria on May 21.
Irish amateur boxing is proudly sponsored by Liffey Crane.
