The Irish Athletic Boxing Association extends it’s deepest condolences to Joe Christle, on the passing of his mother, Mimi.
Joe Christle, a former heavyweight champion, appointed Chair of the IABA Board of Directors in 2014, and succeed, in 2019, by Ciaran Kirwan.
Marie “Mimi” Christle, née, passed away at her home in Aurillac, France on Friday, 10th May 2024, in her 91st year.
As Mimi wished to be buried in the family grave in Pleaux, France, alongside her parents, her sons Mel, Terry and Joe invite all who wish to celebrate her life to attend Mass at the Three Patrons Church, Rathgar, Dublin, on Saturday, 15th June 2024, at 10am.
