BOYS & GIRLS OPEN SENIOR CADET CHAMPIONSHIPS 2019

16th January 2019

 

Venue: National Stadium, Dublin

Boxing: March 8th, 9th, 15th, 22nd & 23rd

Weigh-in: Initial Weigh in will take place on

Sunday, March 3rd, 10am to 11am at the following venues.

 

Connacht: Dalton Inn Hotel

Dublin: Ringside Club

Leinster St Michaels Athy

Munster: Fairgorve Hotel

Ulster: O’Neill’s Arms, Toombe

Antrim: Dockers Club

Draw: Tuesday 5th March at 2.00pm Results will be emailed to Club

Duration: Duration of rounds 3×2 Minutes

 

Eligibility: Boys & Girls born in 2003and 2004. Boxers must have competed

in their Provincial Championships.

Weight Divisions:

46kg, 48kg,50kg, 52kg,54kg57kg,60kg,63kg,66kg,70kg,75kg,80kg,80+kg.

Boxing: Friday 8th March, 7pm National Stadium

Saturday 9th March 11am National Stadium

Friday 15th March 7pm National Stadium

Friday 22nd March 7pm National Stadium

Saturday 23rd March 11am National Stadium

Weigh-in for Finals:

Boxers must weigh in on the morning of their Finals, 8 am to 9 am at the National Stadium. All Boxers must bring an up-to-date passport that must not expire before October 2019 on the first day they box.

Entry Fee: Medical Record Cards and entry fee of 10 Euros must be produced at the initial weigh in.

Boxers must advise details of any medication they are taking or have taken in the preceding 4 weeks. Anti Doping may be carried out at any stage of the competition.

 

 

Entries:

Entries giving name, club, date of birth and weight to reach the under-signed at the National Stadium not later than Friday 1st March. It is a condition of entry that all boxers and their clubs have signed and submitted the Members Acknowledgement Form.

 

Attire:

Coaches must wear full tracksuits and runners in the corners at all sessions, no caps or hats are permitted, Coaches must endeavour to set a high standard of hygiene.

 

No Red, Pink or Orange Gum shields.

 

Boxers must wear hairnets or swim caps under their headgear. Long sleeved tops are not permitted under Vests.

 

Conduct:

Please be advised that Clubs will be held responsible for the conduct of their supporters throughout these Championships.
