
Team Ireland will return from the Leszek Drogosz Memorial Tournament in Poland with a minimum of 5 medals, following today’s draw.
57kg Niamh Fay, 66kg Lisa O’Rourke, 57kg Patryk Adamus, 63.5kg JP Hale and 71kg Jon McConnell will all open their tournaments at the semi-final stage. Tournament organisers have also created round robins at 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 70kg and 81kg, and men’s 54kg.
10 countries and 81 boxers are contesting the competition – Ireland, England, Wales, Belgium, France, Serbia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Poland and Trinidad & Tobago.

Women’s Round Robins
Day One
Three Team Ireland boxers are in action on the opening day of the competition – 50kg Shannon Sweeney begins her Round Robin with a bout against England’s Savannah Stubley. That contest opens proceedings, at 3:45pm, Irish time.
In bout 4, 66kg Grainne Walsh meets Slovakia’s Tamara Kubalova in a Quarter Final. In bout 12, 80kg Gabriel Dossen meets home boxer, Sebastian Kusz, in a preliminary.
