GALLAGHER INCLUDED ON AIBA YOUTH COMMISSION

 

 

Paddy Gallagher has been included on the International Boxing Association Youth Commission.

The AIBA announced the approved members of its seven Commissions this week.

Kildare-native Gallagher boxed out of the St John Bosco BC in Donegal and the St Saviours OBA in Dublin and has been Irish team manager and coaches with numerous Irish Schoolboy and Junior sides who have consistently finished in top five places in the medals table in European competition over the last decade.

The Youth Commission, chaired by Guyana’s Steve Ninvalle, includes Gallagher, China’s Han Bo, France’s Malik Bouziane, Thailand’s Chaiwat Chotima, Poland’s Maceij Demel, Ireland’s Patrick Gallagher, England’s Robert Gibson, Sudan’s Ekrima Hashim Haroun Ahmed, Sierra Leone’s Solomon Kargbo and Uzbekistan’s Rovshan Khodjaev, South Korea’s Ki Taek Kim, India’s Jay Kowli, Australia’s Johan Linde, Ukraine’s Donatas Piskun, Finland’s Henrik Tavio, Georgia’s David Tsikaluri, Russia’s Said Tulakov, Germany’s Nadine Apetz and Debbie Holmes of the USA.
