The Board of Directors is seeking feedback and observations on the Governance Review of IABA, conducted by Brian McNeice. The review, which covered all aspects of the association and issued over 60 recommendations, is attached.
The IABA commissioned two workshops on the report, which were open to all adult members of all affiliated clubs.
Team Ireland’s Cliona D’Arcy contests her World Youth Championships heavyweight final in La Nucia, Spain, this evening.
The Tobar Pheadair, Galway, boxer renewed rivalry against Poland’s Weronika Maja Bochen in her. The two last met at the same stage in the European Youth Championships in Bulgaria in April. D’arcy was the victor then, and history repeated today – the judges scored the 5-0 bout 30:27, 30:26, 30:27, 30:26, 29:28.
The Annual General Meeting of the IABA has been scheduled and registration is now open to all clubs which successfully affiliated by November 1st. Registration will close at midday on Thursday, December 1st.

Our High Performance Unit is seeking a HP Administrator to provide logistics, planning and admin support to boxers including Olympic, World and European Championships.
