New Safeguarding Manager Appointed- Declan Lynch

I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Declan Lynch and I am the new National Safeguarding Manager for the IABA. I am taking over from David Britton in that position.

I believe that safeguarding is the responsibility of all IABA members who actively partake in providing our young people with the facility to learn their sport in a safe and protected environment. To that end I am here to assist you to maintain such an environment in your club by complying with the statutory requirements and best practice.

I am available to discuss any safeguarding  issues with you and I can be contacted as per the information below.

I am looking forward to working with you in providing a bench marking safeguarding policy to our members.
