IABA ANNUAL AWARDS NIGHT

Our Annual awards night is on the 1st February 2019 in the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel Dublin 22, tickets are available from Sally at head office 01-4533371. Tickets must be purchased before 1st February. Last year we sold out this event early so don’t delay get your tickets ASAP to avoid disappointment!

B1 AND B2 TRAINING SUNDAY AT CRUMLIN BC

 

 

2019 squad training commences for the Boy 1 and Boy 2 Champions of 2018 this Sunday in Crumlin Boxing Club at 10am.

Two sessions will take place on the day with training finishing at approximately 2pm.

Boxers are advised to bring their full training gear including good quality 16oz sparring gloves, bag gloves, skipping rope, headguard, groin guard, towel, water for two sessions and a change of clothes.

Also, any boxer who was selected to box for Ireland against England in Bristol, must also attend squad training.

AIBA 1-STAR COACHING COURSE – MALTA

 

Dear EUBC National Federation Members,

 

We are pleased to announce that Malta Boxing Federation is organizing an AIBA 1-Star Coach Certification Course in Naxxar, Malta.

 

The course is in Russian & English and the course dates will be as follows. There are few slots available in the course.

 

Arrival: January 23

Course: January 24 – 30

Departure: January 31

Estimated participants – 15

 

The course registration end date is Monday 14th January 2018. Please register coaches to the course in AIBA database.

SQUAD TRAINING FOR G3 AND G4 CHAMPIONS

 

Please note that squad training will be hosted this Sunday, January 13, at Crumlin Boxing Club for all Girl 3 and Girl 4, 2018 champions.

Location: Crumlin Boxing Club

Date: Sunday the 13th of Jan 2019 and every second week thereafter

Time: 10.00 am Check in – 2 sessions will take place on the day.

Finish time: 3pm

Boxers Invited All Girl 3 and Girl 4 Champions of last season 2018.

Boxers are asked to have full training gear with them on the day: 16oz Sparring Glove, Head Gear, Gumshield – Water for two sessions.

If any girls are unable to attend, please notify us by return email.

If your boxer is no longer boxing can you please contact the undersigned by return email.

NATIONAL U/22 CHAMPIONSHIPS DRAWS (REVISED)

The tournament begins this Friday at the home of Irish boxing.

Current European U/22 champion Amy Broadhurst, a World Elite quarter-finalists, opens her title defence against Jennifer Lehane in the lightweight class on Friday.

Twelve bouts – 8 male and 4 female – will be decided on Day 1 of the competition.

A second session will be resolved this Saturday to confirm the finalists for January 25.

Weigh-ins – 8am to 9am and 12pm to 1pm on each day of boxing.
