The Cavan boxing club impressed at the Ringside tournament in Missouri, USA over the weekend.
AIBA ranked Ceire Smith, Jurgita Pocuite and Emma Feeney claimed Elite Open, Novice and U/17 titles.
Nathan Mongan and Harrison Jameson were eliminated on majority decisions by the eventual champions at semi finals as was the Omagh boxer Bradley.
All three performances drew praise from many coaches and officials. Francis Stokes and Malachy Duffy lost out in their opening contests.
Smith was in impressive form after ten days in Canada training with Mandy Bujold and was asked to assist and provide help with female boxers by several coaches.
”Any trip that brings home three winners has to be a success but it was the boxers discipline and team spirit that was highlight and they proved great ambassadors not only for their club and country but for the sport of boxing,” said Cavan BC coach Brian McKeown.
