The European Schoolboys Championship Squad finished up their penultimate days training in the High Performance Gym at the National Boxing Stadium today.
They also saw off Olympic bound boxers Joe Ward, David Oliver Joyce and Head Coach Zaur Antia – pictured above with the Schoolboy squad at the National Stadium – as they left for their own pre-olympic training camp in Rio.
The schoolboys complete their training at 12:30pm on Wednesday before heading home and they will meet up again on Friday morning at 9:30am in Terminal 1, at Dublin Airport.
Boxers are advised to limit their suitcase to 15kg and have a small carry on bag with their essential boxing gear – boots, groinguard, wraps, 16oz sparring gloves, a headguard and gumshield.
The 2016 European Schoolboy Championships begin Sunday in Zagreb, Croatia.
