The Irish Athletic Boxing Association extends its deep condolences to the family of the Freddie Gilroy who sadly passed away on Tuesday surrounded by his loving family.
The late Mr Gilroy won a bronze medal for Ireland in the bantamweight division at the 1956 Olympic Games.
May he rest in eternal peace.

Remains leave O’Kanes Funeral Directors, 116-118 Donegall Street, Belfast on Thursday at 10.30am to arrive at Holy Cross Church for 11.00am Requiem Mass.
Funeral afterwards to Milltown Cemetery.
