Ray Moylette lost out in his AIBA Pro Boxing (APB) debut in Istanbul, Turkey this afternoon.
The Mayo light-welter, who was selected by the International Boxing Association, was beaten on a unanimous decision by Turkey’s Gozgec Batuhan in the Turkish capital in his first six-round fight.
Dmitry Dmitruk and Martin Brennan were working Moylette’s corner in Istanbul.
Batuhan, who boxed in APB last season, earned a 60-54 decision across the board against the 2011 European Elite and 2008 World Youth champion.
