The first competitive international outing of the year for Irish boxing begins later this month in Bulgaria.
The Strandja multi-nations for men and women begins on February 23rd in Sofia.
Ken Egan, Eric Donovan, Conor Ahern, Martin Rogan, Andrew Murray and Henry Coyle were included in the first Irish squad to compete in the tournament in 2004. None of the 2004 team finished amongst the medals.
The Strandja multi-nations has been running since 1950.
