Dates: Tuesday March 29th to Saturday, April 2nd Inclusive.

Venue: National Stadium, Dublin.

Weigh In: 9am to 11.00am, Thursday, March 24th, at the following venues:

Draw: 3.00pm on Thursday 24th March in National Stadium Board room.

At the conclusion of the weigh-in, details of the weights will be sent by fax to The National Stadium (01-4540777), or by email so sally@iaba.ie where the draw will be take place at approx 2.00pm and Tuesday’s programme will be put up on the website.

All 6 units are requested to have a representative at the draw which will be open to the public.

2.00pm Prelims Boy 2 (2003)

Wednesday March 30th

10.00am Prelims Boy 3 (2002)

2.00pm Semi-finals Boy 1 up to 39kg

7.00pm Semi-finals Boy 1 from 42kg upwards.

Thursday March 31st

10.00am Semi-finals Boy 2 up to 44kg

2.00pm Semi Finals Boy 2 from 46kg upwards

Friday April 1st

8.00-900am & 12-1pm Weigh-in for Boy 1 Finalists

10.00am Semi-finals Boy 3 up to 46kg

2.00pm Semi Finals Boy 3 from 48kg upwards

7.00pm Finals Boy 1

Saturday April 2nd

8.00-9.00am Weigh in Boy 2 &3 Finalists

11.00am Finals Boy 2

The Above times are subject to change, dependant on entries

Rounds: Boxing will be 3 x 1½ minute rounds.

Entries: Through the Secretaries of the Provincial Councils and of the

Antrim and Dublin County Boards in accordance with

Rule 71.1.

Entries to reach the undersigned at The National Stadium by Tuesday March 22nd .

Entry Fee: Medical Record Cards and entry fee of 10 Euros must be produced at the initial weigh in. Boxers must advise details of any medication they are taking or have taken in the preceding 4 weeks. Anti Doping may be carried out at any stage of the competition.

Attention is called to the stipulation in the IABA Rule book that each boxer presented by his/her club shall be fit to box. This is the responsibility of the club.

It is a condition of entry that all competitors and officials have signed the Members Acknowledgement Form or will not be allowed to participate.

Attire: Coaches must wear tracksuits and runners in heir corners at all sessions and endeavour to set a high standard of hygiene.

N.B. It is a condition of entry that all boxers and

their clubs have signed and submitted the Members Acknowledgement Form and it is the responsibility of the entering unit that this stipulation is complied with.
