Joe Ward meets Wales’ Sammy Lee, who he sparred earlier this month in a training camp with Team GB in Sheffield, tomorrow.

Afanasev, in action in the last bout of the afternoon, dispensed with the need for points after flooring Slovakia’s Gregor Skranec twice late in the second round en toute to a stoppage.
The Dublin heavyweight will be back in action tomorrow versus England’s Cheavon Clarke.
Kellie Harrington, Ceire Smith, Michaela Walsh, Aoife O’Rourke, Wayne Kelly and Kieran Molloy are also between the ropes on Thursday.

AIBA 3-Star RJ Certification Course
The course, which will be run in conjunction with the Golden Glove tournament, begins on November 25 in Belgrade.
The deadline for applications is October 10.
Please read attachment for eligibility criterion. Eligible R&Js will only be considered.
