DAY 1 RESULTS – NATIONAL U/18 CHAMPIONSHIPS

Twelve quarter and semi-finals were decided at the home of Irish boxing tonight.

The red corner was the corner to be in this evening with all twelve winners wearing red vests.

Meantime, the tournament resumes next Friday evening.

Athletes only weigh-in again on the day of their finals on July 27.

There’s just four months to go to the opening bell for the Smithfield Boxfest 2018.

”We are gearing up for a high quality multi-nations tournament and want to re-affirm our open invitation to all of your affiliate, member clubs and colleague clubs to join us in Dublin, Ireland, October 4th to 6th, at the home of Smithfield Boxing Club, said the club.

”Our long-standing tournament has a tradition of attracting European and World class competitors from countries with strong boxing traditions. Smithfield Boxfest 2018 is part of the Irish Athletic Boxing Association’s (IABA) national calendar of events and has the continuing support of the region municipal authority, Dublin City Council.
