David Oliver Joyce, Pearce O’Leary, Christian Preston and Jack Lawlor are between the ropes in the last 16 versus Germany and Russia.

Boxing begins at 2pm and 6pm (Irish times) today.

TEAM IRELAND ARRIVE IN GERMANY

 

Irish squad at Dublin Airport this morning

Team Ireland arrived in Berlin shortly after 1pm this afternoon after an early flight from Dublin.

The nine-strong squad, management, coaches and R&J are en route to Frankfurt/Oder ahead of the opening bell for the 23rd Brandenburg Youth Cup.

The tournament begins tomorrow, with the draw scheduled for tonight.

163 athletes from 16 nations will be in the hat for the preliminary round pairings.
