China, as anticipated, are once again emerging as a dominant force on the road to the Olympics after topping the medals table at the Asian Women’s Championships which concluded in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Wednesday.
However, the champions in the three current female Olympics weights of middleweight were China’s Li Qian, Korea’s Oh Yeon and Vietnam’s Thi Tam Vien.
Another two Olympic weights are expected to be added to the existing limits for Tokyo 2020
Vietnam represented the third successive occasion that China has topped the medals table at this level.
