The Irish Athletic Boxing Association Nomination Policy for the 2026 Commonwealth Games is being published following it’s adoption by the Board of Directors.
This Nomination Policy outlines the criteria and Nomination Process by which the IABA will Nominate Athletes for selection to Team NI for participation at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
This Nomination Policy has been developed by the IABA, in collaboration with the Ulster Boxing Council and the Ulster High Performance programme, with input from the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland, and is the responsibility of and has been approved by the IABA Board of Directors.
The development phase of this Nomination Policy included an online Stakeholder Consultation open to all clubs and a separate invitation to submit feedback on the policy.
