The IABA extends its deep condolences to the Power family following the recent death of Martin Power.
One of the great stalwarts of Dublin and Irish boxing with the St Saviours OBA, the late Mr Power was a patron of the IABA and a former IABA Treasurer.
May he rest in eternal peace.

Martin Power (Santry and formerly of Downpatrick Road, Crumlin, The IABA and St. Saviours Olympic Boxing Academy) – Feb 2, 2020, (peacefully), surrounded by his loving family, at Beaumont Hospital, Martin, beloved husband of Pat and dear father of Carmel, Stephen, Keith and Sinéad; Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, brother Johnny, sister Kay, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Sinéad, Scott, Aaron, Niall, Daragh and Jessica, great granddaughter Megan, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his home on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Wednesday to the Chapel of Blessed Margaret Ball, Santry arriving for 10am Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Glasnevin Cemetery.
