Irish squad in Poland


Poland beat Ireland 6-4 in tonight’s Elite international in Kielce, Poland.


Irish captain Dean Walsh, Gerard Matthews, Michael Nevin and Martin Keenan won on the 10-bout international.


Keenan took the early route to victory with a second round KO of Aleksander Stawirej in the final bout on the card, with Nevin forcing Daniel Adamiec into a standing count with a stunning right hook right.


The Irish squad are due to arrive home tomorrow evening.
