I have been involved in boxing now for almost 62 years, as a referee/judge, Coach,Team manager with many International teams, Provincial,County Boards, club teams and LDS teams, and I have to say that this group of young boxers were the best I have ever travelled out of this country with, they as individuals and as a group had everything, discipline, dedication, commitment, respect, their behaviour as a group was the best I have ever seen, what a pleasure and honour for me to be involved with this group, they are a credit to their family’s, clubs and LDS, and great ambassadors for irish boxing.
