TEAM IRELAND ARRIVE IN INDIA

 

 

Team Ireland arrived in India today ahead of the start of the AIBA World Youth Championships this weekend.

 

The draw will be held Saturday with boxing scheduled to begin Sunday in Guwahati.

 

Over 30 nations represented by approximately 200 boxers are registered compete in the 5th edition of the tournament.

 

Team Ireland will have a light training session this evening after their long journey from Dublin.

 

The 2017 World Youths will also act as a qualifier for next year’s Olympic Youth Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

 

Four places are up or grabs in the fly, feather, light and middle classes.
