Team Ireland record 4 more wins at Youth 5 Nations.

Team Ireland have claimed another four wins at the 5 nation youth round robin.

It is being hosted by Federazione Pugilistica Italiana in Assissi, and includes the home nation, Ireland, France, Hungary and Ukraine.

48kg Carleigh Irving opened Team Ireland’s account on day two, with a 5-0 decision over Hungary. 50kg Katie O’Keeffe notched-up her second win of competition, as did 54kg Niamh Keogh – both boxers were the UD victors in their bouts. 60kg Ava Rose Henry Lyndon did likewise, against home boxer Luisa Acconcia . 66kg Gabrielle Mongan faced a testy bout against France while 70kg Nell McLaughlin made her debut in Assisi today, and faced Italian boxer, Giulia Molinaro. Gabrielle and Nell both came away with valuable rounds in the bank. It was rest day for Esther Lambe & Natalia Fasciszewska.
