Kellie Harrington and Grainne Walsh will be aiming to join Michaela Walsh in the Saturday’s finals at the European Union Women’s Championships in Cascia, Italy today.
Harrington meets Italian Rio lightweight Olympian Irma Testa and Grainne Walsh is in against Germany’s Nadine Apetz in the welter class.
Both women, who are already assured of bronze, are in action in the 8th and 9th semi-finals on the card which begins at 3.30pm (Irish time).
Michaela Walsh, already guaranteed silver, faces German bantam Azize Nimani in Saturday’s final. A fourth straight win since last Saturday will deliver gold .
