Two IABA Coach Developers have qualified as Coach Developer Assessors.
Nikki Foley is IABA’s Education and Training Officer, and is of Tralee Boxing Club. Jeff Fitzgerald is of Corpus Christi BC in Limerick. Both were qualified and active IABA Coach Developers before undertaking additional Assessor learning and qualifications, through Sport Ireland.
Coach Developers deliver IABA Coach Ed qualification training, including Fundamentals and Level One coach education.
Criteria for acceptance to this Sport Ireland course include holding Level 2 or above CDPI tutor/CD qualification, and being an active Coach Developer for in excess of 5 years.
Nikki and Jeff are now qualified to effectively assess trainee Coach Developers in accordance with IABA and Sport Ireland standards, and effectively facilitate the learning, progress and performance of trainee
& qualified Coach Developers .
