22 bouts were decided on the opening night of boxing in the 2025 National Youth Competition. Boxing continues on Saturday, from 11am – when 48 bouts will be down for decision.

Congratulations to Margaret Lambe of Setanta BC, Kildare (pictured), who made her National Championships officiating debut this evening.

A reminder, following the advisory issued by the National Secretary on December 28th (available here), that this event is a competition not a championships. As such, the January competition will not be used as a tool of potential selection for international competition.
