It’s Day Two of the European Youth Championships is Sofia, Buglaria.

6 Team Ireland boxers will compete – 4 in the afternoon session, beginning at 12pm, Irish time, and 2 in the evening session, which starts at 4pm, Irish time:

Ring A, Afternoon Session:

Bout 5: 63.5kg Tom McDonnell meets Zaur Gahramanov of Azerbaijan

Bout 12: 86kg Cruiserweight Nathan Ojo will take on Italy’s Paolo Caruso

Ring B, Afternoon Session:

Bout 6: 48kg Patsy Joyce takes on Armenia’s Tovmaysan Tumas

Bout 9: 92kg+ Bernie Cawley is to contest against Ukraine’s Oleksandr Zelenskyi.

Ring A, Evening Session

Bout 8: 60kg Jason Nevin meets England’s Nelson Birchall

Ring B, Evening Session

Bout 4: 75kg Joshua Olaniyan contests against Serbia’s Rastki Simic.

400 boxers from 40 nations are contesting the tournament, which runs until April 21st.

The tournament is being live-streamed on the EUBC’s YouTube channel.
