64th BOSCKAI MEMORIAL UPDATE

Ireland completes its competitive preparations for the European qualifiers for Tokyo 2020 in London in March at the Bocskai Memorial in Debrecen, Hungary next week.

Boxing begins at the 64th edition of the tournament next Monday afternoon.

Antrim’s Rio 2016 Olympian Brendan Irvine and Tyrone’s current Elite champion Jude Gallagher are doubling up at flyweight for the 64th edition of the tournament.

Galway’s Gabriel Dossen and Tipperary’s Dean Gardiner line out at middleweight and super-heavyweight.

Over 30 nations have registered to compete in Debrecen.

The Irish squad depart for Hungary on Sunday morning.
