Team Ireland in training in Anapa

Ireland completed their first day of training in Anapa yesterday ahead of the start of the Nikolay Pavlyukov Youth multi-nations in the Russian city on Saturday.

Team Ireland’s eight-strong squad are training with the host nation, Azerbaijan, Australia and Cuba in Anapa.

Known as the “mini World Championships, the Nikolay Pavlyukov tournament has once again attracted all of the top boxing nations.

International Youth boxing is building up toward the AIBA World Youth Championships in St Petersburg, Russia later this year.
