AIBA 1-STAR COACHING EXAM CONCLUDES AT STADIUM

 

It was seconds in at the National Stadium in Dublin today with Ireland’s coaches sitting their AIBA 1-Star coaching exams at Irish Athletic Boxing Association (IABA) headquarters.

The exams began this morning at 9am and have concluded at the home of Irish boxing.

Twenty five students, pictured, took part in the AIBA course, which began last Friday,and sat this morning’s test.

The course is the first step on the AIBA ladder which creates a transparent system for developing coaches from national level right up to AIBA 3-Star certification,ensuring that the highest quality and global standards are met in coaching.

The results of today’s exams will be officially announced in approximately one month.

IABA Registrar and AIBA 1-Star course co-ordinator, Stephen Connolly,thanked all  participants and wished everyone the best of luck with their exam results.
