The AIBA 1-Star World Referee and Judges (R&J) exams began with a Seminar, pictured above, at Dublin’s National Stadium this morning.
The written exams commence tomorrow and the practical exams will be run throughout the National Girls and U/18 Championships at the National Stadium this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The exams are being overseen by Scotland’s Andy Caulfield and Hungary’s Zoltan Szalma, tutors with the International Boxing Association (AIBA).
The Irish Athletic Boxing Association wishes all R&Js the very best of luck in their exams.
