IABA has partnered with Sport Ireland to invite 20 clubs to take part in HER Outdoors Week, #FindYourOutdoors, 8th-14th August. Today is the deadline for applications.
HER Outdoors is designed to give women and girls a route in to boxing in a fun and social environment. Participating clubs must deliver at least two hours of outdoor coaching between August 8th and 14th to participate. Clubs may offer a single two-hour session, or two one-hour sessions, whichever they wish. Sessions are to be offered free of charge. IABA’s Women in Sport Lead, Louise McKenzie, through Sport Ireland grant funding awarded in 2021, is offering €100, each, to all 20 participating clubs.
The expression of interest form is attached and clubs who wish to participate should return the completed form to Louise, louise.mckenzie@iaba.ie by 5pm on Thursday, July 28th.
Louise will be in contact with successful clubs on Friday, July 29th.
