During an extraordinary general meeting, Daniel Fleissner was recently elected the new president of the Austrian Boxing Association (ÖBV).
The 40-year-old studied law and works in the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research. Fleissner is also an SPÖ district council in Vienna-Donaustadt.
“Our goal is still the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, and we will use all our energy to ensure that at least one boxer qualifies for it,” said the new president.
