BOXERS: THE WAY BACK FROM COVID
We are delighted to offer the following webinar in our series of online workshops: ‘The way back from Covid’ scheduled for Thursday 3rd December 2020, 7:00pm – 8:00pm. This 1 hour webinar will be facilitated by James Austin, Performance Psychologist for Grey Matters Performance.
ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
Summary: Strategies for boxers on staying motivated and engaged during Covid Restrictions so that they are ready to return to training and competition.
Workshop Overview:
THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR 18 YEARS OLDS AND OVER ONLY!. An additional workshop will be arranged for Under 18s at a later date.
During this period where many of us are spending a majority of our time at home due to the outbreak Covid19 and less time within our clubs training, as a boxer you may become very disillusioned with thoughts of ‘why bother to train’, ‘what is the point’? or ‘how will I compete and get back to training when this finally lift’?
James will discuss some key strategies which will help you to stay motivated during this time, to enable you to stay connected to your club, your training and ultimately your goal of competing when restrictions lift and our normal can resume.
James’ presentation will last approximately 40 minutes, followed by a Q&A session where participants will be given the opportunity to interact directly with James.
Please note that this workshop is only for IABA Affiliated club boxers who are over the age of 18. An additional workshop will be arranged for under 18s at a later date.
