Boxing clubs are being invited to apply for the 2023 Sports Capital and Equipment Programme. The scheme has been amended and upgrade from the previous round.
Key features under the 2023 Sports Capital round:
– Maximum grants for local projects increased from €150,000 to €200,000;
– Maximum grants for regional projects increased from €300,000 to €500,000; and
– New rules on providing similar access to facilities for men and women.
The 2023 Sports Capital and Equipment Programme will open for applications at 9am on Monday 17th July 2023 and close to applications 5pm on Friday 8th September 2023. The deadline for registration is 5pm on Friday 25th August 2023.

In the last round of awards made in February 2022, 42 boxing clubs successfully applied for equipment and capital project grants, worth a combined total of 585, 194. The highest award was 288,00 for a building project. A full outline of all awards is available here
