The 2018 European Women’s Elite Championships concluded in Sofia, Bulgaria today.

Team Ireland finished in joint 9th spot in the medals table with Belarus and Germany (IABA estimate, no medals table has been issued).

Michaela Walsh and Kellie Harrington claimed double bronze at the tournament.

Walsh and Harrington also qualified for the 2019 European Games, along with Grainne Walsh, in Sofia.

Team Ireland are due to arrive home via Dublin Airport at 7.30pm tomorrow evening.
