FINAL EUROPEAN TRAINING SESSION THIS SATURDAY

 

Team Ireland will have their final training session at the Drimnagh Boxing Club in Dublin this Saturday ahead of the opning bell for the European Schoolboy and Schoolgirl Championships in Albena, Bulgaria

Saturday’s training session begins at 10.30am.

The IABA have named a 31-strong male and female panel for Bulgaria.

The team depart for Albena on Monday afternoon via Dublin Airport.

Boxing begins at the Albenia Sports Hall next Tuesday after the weigh-in and draw.

Team Ireland has claimed 89 medals at this level over the last 15 years. Bulgaria 2018 marks the first occasion that the tournament is a joint male and female event.
