The Olympic BC held their St Patrick’s show at their clubhouse last night.
A Galway Select team took on a strong Welsh Select squad at Olympic BC Galway with Galway coming away with a 7-6 victory.
6-6 going into the final contest last night before Galway captain Edward Barrett pulled off a 2-1 split decision win over Welsh Champion and Team Captain Jordan Whiters ensuring Galway came away with overall Team Victory and that bout earning Barrett and Whiters best home and away boxers.
Wins also last night for European Schoolboy Champion Jason Myers, National Champions Paddy Cleary, Michael Maughan and Tommy Donovan. Tommy McDonagh and Kevin Fahy.
