HESSION LOSES OUT AT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Adam Hession bowed out of the World Championships in Belgrade this evening.

The Galway featherweight was beaten on a 4-1 split decision by Eduard Savvin of Russia.

However, many observers in Belgrade believed that Hession had done enough to win the fight.

Peter O’Donnell, Irish team manager, said that the Irish champion boxed out of his skin in an action -packed lively encounter.
