IABA EXTENDS SYMPATHIES TO KEOGH FAMILY

 

The Irish Athletic Boxing Association extends its deep condolences to the Keogh family following the death of Olive Keogh.

The late Olive Keogh came from a family steeped in Dublin and Irish boxing and was Secretary of the Dublin Board for over 20 years.

May she rest in eternal peace.

Keogh (née Barber) Olive (Tranquility Grove, Dublin 5 and formerly of Keeper Road, Drimnagh, and late of the I.A.B.A, 28th June 2019 passed away (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff of the Bon Secours Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife to Paddy and cherished mother to Geraldine, Patrick, Matthew, Séan, Aileen and Philip; she will be very sadly missed by her loving family sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her 13 grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock Monday, 1st July, from 5.00-6.30pm. Removal on Tuesday to the Church of St. Brendan, Coolock Village, arriving for 11.20 for 11.30 Requiem Mass followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery extension.
