INTERNATIONAL RESULTS SO FAR THIS SEASON

Joe Ward (red)

Please scroll down for International results up to last week.

Ireland has claimed two gold, four silver and two bronze in European competition so far in 2018, with Amy Broadhurst and Daina Moorehouse topping their respective podiums in Continental competition.

Ireland’s boxers also remain unbeaten in the World Series of Boxing after four outings, courtesy of Joe Ward (3) and Caoimhin Agyarko-Hynes (1).

Ward, the current European Elite champion and World Elite finalist, occupies pole positions in the WSB Individual light-heavy rankings ahead of Cuba’s Olympic champion Julio La Cruz.

The top three ranked boxers in the WSB at the end of the season qualify for the 2019 World Elite Championships.

Irish amatuer boxing is proudly sponsored by Liffey Crane.
