IRELAND TO COMPETE AT EINDHOVEN BOX CUP

Ireland will send a five-strong squad to the Eindhoven Elite Box Cup which begins this weekend in the Netherlands.

The initial weigh-in will be held Thursday with boxing scheduled to begin Friday.

The four-day tournament will be held under the supervision of the Dutch Boxing Association and AIBA.

The Eindhoven Box Cup is The Netherlands’ largest Olympic Boxing event which will be hosted at the Hotel Eindhoven, located strategically only 10 minutes from the Eindhoven International Airport and 10 minutes from the Eindhoven city centre.

Over 200 boxers from throughout Europe will participate in the tournament. The tournament is open to Elite A-class boxers, both Male and Female, in all weight classes.
