IRELAND CONTINUE BUILD UP TO CHEMISTRY CUP

Team Ireland completed three sparring sessions at the German Olympic and Paralympic Centre in Kienbaum, Germany, pictured below, yesterday ahead of the start of the Chemistry Cup on April 9.

The Irish squad are training and sparring with the host nation, Canada, Poland, Switzerland and Russia near Brandenburg.

The Chemistry Cup, also called the World Cup, begins on Tuesday week in Cologne.

Up to 20 nations are expected to compete and Cuba will sent a team to the tournament.

Ireland’s 13-strong squad arrived in Germany last Saturday.
