Ireland will meet England in a Senior Cadet double header next month.
Both nations go head-to-head at the St Michael’s Athy BC and the St Brigid’s BC in Edenderry on September 14/15.
More details of the male and female international will be confirmed shortly.
The IABA are using the tournament as part of their selection process from October’s European Junior Men’s and Women’s Championships in Anapa, Russia.
Anapa – besides the Men’s European Union Elites in Spain in November – is the final Continental outing of a year in which Irish boxing, so far, has claimed 21 medals in Europe.
Meantime, a date for the outstanding Senior Cadet feather and light finals will be confirmed shortly.
